Egypt
Has 24 hydrogen projects with a total value of direct investment of 147 billion dollars, ranked 2nd worldwide and 1st regionally. The country has signed 7 agreements in renewable energy and green hydrogen.

Kuwait
Kuwait is developing 8 green hydrogen and renewable energy projects with $15 billion investments, targeting 30% renewable electricity by 2035. It plans a green hydrogen hub in Al-Shagaya and CCUS initiatives to cut oil sector emissions.

Algeria
Committed to reducing its GHG emissions by 2030, Algeria is flagging its most promising sites for CCUS projects and plans to export between 30 and 40 TWh by 2040 of gaseous green hydrogen and liquified derivatives.

Morocco
Morocco has earmarked 1 million hectares for green hydrogen projects, with an initial phase covering 300,000 hectares to entire investors. The Kingdom aims to produce 52% of energy from renewable sources by 2030.
